FREE at the Drugstores this week!

Playing "The Drugstore Game" is a great way to save money on not only health, beauty, and cleaning supplies, but also food! There are always great coupon match-ups to be had.

My strategy this week is to hit up CVS for Mach 3 Razors and an iTunes gift card (these make great gifts!) Then if I have time I'll go to Walgreens, snag some free toothpaste and toothbrushes, and also pick up batteries and toilet paper. I'll post my deals around later this week.

A quick primer on drugstore lingo:

  • CVS -- you can earn "Extra Care Bucks" (ECBs) when you use your store loyalty card. These ECBs can be used on future transactions.
  • Rite-Aid -- With Rite-Aid's store loyalty card, you earn "+UP rewards" which are similar to ECBs at CVS.
  • Walgreens -- No store loyalty card needed. You earn "Register Rewards" with certain purchases which is store credit to be used on future purchases.
